. . . about Jacki Korito

Jacki's devotion to the art and business of photography has spanned nearly two decades. A graduate of Otis Parson's Art Institute, she has combined her love of show business and the music industry and along with her gift of shooting parties and publicity events clearly expresses the dedication to her craft. In the early 80's, Jacki worked as a private assistant and personal photographer to Ed McMahon. She then took on the challenge of studio manager, darkroom operator and location assistant to such celebrated photographers as Alan Berliner, Harry Langdon, Christopher Barr and Robin Riggs. In 1986, she started her own successful enterprise. Jacki is renowned for her photographs of celebrity faces which have appeared on album covers, newspapers and magazines such as Los Angeles Magazine, People, Rolling Stone, Billboard and Music Connection to highlight just a few. Hollywood legends the likes of Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, Liza Minelli, Andy Warhol and Barbra Streisand joined with music icons such as Madonna, Cher, k.d. Lang, The Bee Gees, Rickie Lee Jones, U2, Van Halen, Chuck Berry, even the President of the United States Bill Clinton have graced the pages of her portfolio. Proudly representing such companies as Warner Bros. Records, MCA, Motion Picture Association of America, The William Morris Agency, American Film Institution, The Regency Club, Sherwood Country Club and The UCLA Armand Hammer Museum have afforded Jacki a colorful array of opportunities and explain the longevity of her successful career. She has vast experience with music video shoots and annually covers the Oscar's, the Grammy Awards and the Golden Globes.
